Legal Counsel to Söderberg & Partners Denmark
Söderberg & Partners is a leading Nordic non-bank provider of wealth management, corporate pension and insurance that offers a wide range of financial services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, government institutions and individuals. Founded in 2004, the firm is headquartered in Stockholm and maintains offices across Europe. The ownership of the firm is divided between Mr. P-O Söderberg, the founders and management together with two prominent international financial investors – KKR & TA Associates.
Söderberg & Partners is looking for a proactive and driven Legal Counsel with an interest in working with a wide range of business law related enquires. You will join an international company and be part of the Group-wide function, with a focus on the Danish operations. The Legal Counsel will report to the Group's General Counsel and will work closely with the CEO at the Head Office in Copenhagen.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Negotiating, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements
- Assisting the organization in external and internal transactions
- Providing advice on various legal issues, including contract law, GDPR and IDD
- Handling company law issues for the Group's Danish companies
- Providing advice on other business-specific legal questions related to the organisation
The successful candidate has a university law degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience from a law firm or in-house legal department. You are experienced in writing commercial agreements and have an excellent knowledge of Danish and English both in speech and in writing.
As a person, you must be comfortable working both independently and together with the rest of the team. You are a team player with a curious, open, and entrepreneurial mindset, while at the same time having strong legal analytical skills. We believe that you are excellent in finding answers and solving problems with a pragmatic approach, giving tangible and to-the-point advise to the organization. You are helpful, positive, business-oriented, driven, humble, thorough, determined, and have high integrity.
