About the position
The SEB Investment Management Legal Department is a very important part of the organization. The team is advising in all legal aspects of the business of SEB Investment Management AB such as transactional requirements, regulatory requirements and legal queries of the daily fund business.
Your focus will be drafting and negotiating agreements, such as ISDA, and advising the business on a range of transactional and regulatory matters. You will be participating in product developments as well as providing legal and regulatory analyses and impact assessments. You will also draft policies and guidelines and monitoring legal risks.
Who are you?
We are looking for an experienced lawyer specializing in derivatives with an interest in asset management and investments. You should have a law degree or similar with at least five years’ relevant experience from working with trading and derivatives at a law firm, fund manager or bank.
You should have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English. Working in a structured way comes naturally to you and you feel comfortable advising the business and instructing external counsels.
To fit into the team you have to be unpretentious and openminded. You must be used to working independently but thrive in a team that works closely together.
